The lying, cheating jerk…

I know that some of you reading the title might be panicking that Gary is the lying, cheating jerk.  Thankfully, this is not about Gary.  He is still the most wonderful guy I’ve ever met, and, I cannot wait to be his wife.  We’re just 1 month away until our wedding — but, I digress— back to the main subject of this post…

It came to my attention that someone who has been pursuing someone I consider a friend,  has turned out to be a lying, cheating jerk…  I just have to write about it to get it off my chest because I feel like I’m going to explode.

Now, you have to keep in mind that my friend never had a romantic interest in this man.  She went on maybe two dates with him, and, tried to let him down easy each time.  He just didn’t get it, and, he continued to pursue her.  So, she tried playing it the other way, and, tried to get to close him by telling him she wanted to marry him.  That scared him.  Sort of…  He would come back and then leave ridiculously stupid emails saying “Sorry this will never work.”

Finally, out of desperation to get rid of this guy, my friend confronted this man and asked him if there was someone else.  The answer was “yes”.  She thought she was finally rid of him.  WRONG.

He tried to play the friendship card with my friend.  She’s just too nice and too much of a lady to tell him otherwise, so, she thought this is where this rather odd relationship was going end up.  Friends.

Wrong again.  Once again he tried to pursue her, told her that he still loved her…  And this time it turns out the rat is ENGAGED to the other woman.

I’m not pissed that he hurt my friend.  Because he didn’t.  She didn’t want him.  She never did.  What pisses me off is that he is still lying to my friend’s face totally unaware that his Facebook page is totally public, and, it’s there in plain daylight for anyone to see the status of his relationship with this other woman.

My friend confronted this guy last night and asked if the woman he is engaged to knows about about her.  The answer he gave was “no”.  He then continued the lie and said his daughter only met the woman he is going to marry twice.  Really?  Does he really think my friend is dumb enough to believe him?  And, here’s the kicker.  He’s telling my friend the engagement is off and that he has the ring in the car — WRONG!  Once again a simple visit to his Facebook page shows that the SOB is lying yet again.

I want so badly to get in touch with the woman this man is going to marry, but, as my friends have pointed out.  It isn’t my place.  It isn’t as though my friend is or ever was seriously interested in getting together with this guy.  It just pisses me off that he is such an F*ing liar — and who knows how many more women this nut is doing this same thing to or with….

And trust me when I say this guy is nothing special.  Average in height, average in looks — and gainfully unemployed.  Oh wait, I forgot… On disability…  A real catch, isn’t he ladies?  Not to mention he is about as dependable as a used diaper.

I am soooo tempted to post his Facebook page, but,  I won’t… I might be blonde, but, I’m not a dumb one.  But, I will say if your name is Deb and you are engaged to a guy named Fred, and you live in NJ, I’d be asking a ton of questions if I were you and reading this blog…
